Educated at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and at the New York University / Leonard N. Stern School of Business (Majors: Management Information Systems, Production Management)

Held teaching positions at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, the Institute for Business Development in Vienna, the Danube University in Krems and the Center for International Peace operations (ZIF Berlin)

Founder and former director of the Competence Center for Electronic Voting and Participation (E-Voting.CC)

Election expert (with focus on e-voting) for OSCE & EU including observation missions to Estonia, Venezuela, USA, and Russia
